Volaris to Launch Daily Dallas-Monterrey Route Starting March 2025
Volaris, the Mexican ultra-low-cost airline, is set to enhance its connectivity between Mexico and the United States by launching a new daily route between Dallas, Texas, and Monterrey, Nuevo León, beginning March 30, 2025.
Since its entry into the Dallas market in 2015, Volaris has served over 820,000 customers through existing routes to Mexico City and Guadalajara. The addition of the Monterrey route underscores the airline's commitment to improving air travel options for customers in key tourism and business destinations.
Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President of Volaris, expressed excitement about the new route, highlighting Dallas Fort Worth International Airport's status as a major hub. He emphasized that this route will facilitate connections for travelers visiting friends and family or engaging in business activities.
The Dallas-Monterrey route aims to strengthen economic and tourism ties between the two cities. Dallas is known for its diverse attractions, while Monterrey serves as Mexico's second-largest business hub, recognized for its industrial and financial activities.
Tickets for the new route are now available for purchase. Flights will depart Monterrey at 14:55, arriving in Dallas at 17:40, while flights from Dallas will leave at 19:00, arriving in Monterrey at 19:45.
