World2Fly, the new long-haul airline, has just taken delivery of its first A350-900, the world's most efficient wide-body large commercial aircraft built by Airbus.

The new Airbus A350 features state-of-the-art aerodynamics, a carbon fiber fuselage and wings, as well as the most fuel-efficient Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines.

This technology translates into unique levels of operational efficiency and sustainability for World2Fly, with a 25% reduction in fuel burn and CO₂ emissions compared to previous-generation twin-aisle aircraft. In addition, it is one of the world's quietest aircraft and allows the Jet-Lag sensation to be mitigated.

World2Fly's A350-900 features a modern and very comfortable cabin design with 432 seats. Passengers will enjoy more space, spacious seating and greater comfort, complemented by state-of-the-art in-flight connectivity and entertainment. Passengers will have access to thousands of publications - travel, lifestyle, sports, interior design, business and more - from 150 countries in 60 languages, downloadable through the Pressreader platform.

They will also have an entertainment platform, with more than 200 hours of content, where they can find a wide range of movies, games and podcasts that will allow them to enjoy their trip to the fullest.

World2Fly's fleet includes three long-haul aircraft (two in 2021 and one more next year): one A330-300 (based in Lisbon), and two A350-900s (the second to be delivered in 2022).

World2Fly will operate its A350s on long-haul routes from Madrid to Caribbean destinations such as Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Cancun (Mexico) and Havana (Cuba).

On the occasion of its launch, the company has launched a campaign of special ticket offers on its flights for 250 €, plus additional benefits such as flexibility in case of possible date changes, cancellation program with refund in 7 days or a free COVID travel insurance. The flight promotion is available on the website https://www.w2fly.es.

After receiving its Air Operator's Certificate in the second half of April, World2Fly is now ready for its first inaugural flight, scheduled for June 19 to Punta Cana.

World2Fly is also the first Aircraft Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (Part CAMO) approved by AESA (Spanish Aviation Safety Agency) in Spain under the new EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) regulations.
