Coastal Mississippi is experiencing a boom in tourism development with a string of new attractions and businesses launched just in time for the summer travel season. From boutique accommodations to culinary hotspots and cultural spaces, the Mississippi Gulf Coast is offering even more reasons for visitors to explore its 62 miles of scenic shoreline.

Among the standout additions is the new os1515 Downtown in Ocean Springs, a city-block-sized project featuring the OS Hotel and the CRAVE Food Hall, both celebrating local heritage through architecture and cuisine. Also making waves are The Pass Bungalows in Pass Christian, offering coastal-style lodging complete with a tiki bar and restaurants.

In Pascagoula, the Hancock Rooftop Bar has opened atop City Centre, providing panoramic ocean views, while food lovers can now enjoy El Chilango Mexican Food in Gulfport, Field's Mediterranean and Acropolis Greek Restaurant in Biloxi, and Old Blackwater Restaurant in Moss Point, accessible by boat or car.

Other notable openings include Zen Den Spa, The Coffee Vineyard, the colorful Bacon Rainbow Alley, and Mississippi’s first Buc-ee's in Pass Christian. Culture seekers can explore the revamped Round Island Lighthouse Maritime Museum and enjoy a Virtual Walking Tour of historic Gulfport.

The momentum continues with major projects on the horizon: Anthony’s Ristorante in Bay St. Louis, St. James Cheese Company, and The Collective, a creative and culinary hub in Ocean Springs. A Barq’s-themed B&B in Biloxi and the forthcoming Mississippi Songwriters Performing Arts Center in Gautier will deepen the region’s connection to its musical and cultural roots.

“These new openings give visitors even more reason to plan a summer beach getaway,” said Judy Young, CEO of Coastal Mississippi Tourism.
