Caribbean Travel Marketplace Heads to Antigua & Barbuda in 2025

Expanded Program to Include Responsible Tourism Day, Caribbean Travel Forum, and a New Direct Booking Summit
The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) has officially opened registration for the 43rd annual Caribbean Travel Marketplace (CTM), which will take place in Antigua and Barbuda from May 18-22, 2025. For the first time, the twin-island nation will host the region’s leading business-to-business tourism event, bringing together international buyers and Caribbean suppliers to explore new business prospects and strengthen the region’s presence in global travel markets.
Antigua and Barbuda’s Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation, and Investment, The Honourable Charles Fernandez, expressed enthusiasm about hosting the prestigious event:
“This is a milestone moment for Antigua and Barbuda, as we prepare to welcome tourism professionals from around the world. As hosts of the 43rd Caribbean Travel Marketplace, we are eager to showcase our islands’ natural beauty, vibrant culture, and dynamic tourism offerings. This event is a key driver of collaboration and economic growth for the Caribbean, and we look forward to providing an unforgettable experience for all attendees.”
According to CHTA CEO Vanessa Ledesma, this year’s Marketplace will serve as a vital platform for business growth and industry evolution:
“Caribbean Travel Marketplace is more than a networking event—it’s a driving force for innovation, investment, and strategic partnerships. As we bring this flagship event to Antigua and Barbuda for the first time, we are introducing new initiatives that will provide our members with valuable insights and opportunities to elevate the region’s hospitality and tourism sector.”
