ExCeL London Taps Kerrie Kemp as New Director of Venue Operations

ExCeL London revealed that Kerrie Kemp has been appointed as the Director of Venue Operations. This addition strengthens the leadership team and enhances the venue’s operational capabilities in anticipation of its upcoming expansion.

With over two decades of experience in the industry, Kemp has a prestigious background, having organized major events for leading companies in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Her resume includes roles at UBM, Imark, VNU Exhibitions, and Ithaca Media, in addition to her position at Informa where she spearheaded the Global Programme Delivery for the Better Stands project, which focuses on minimizing the use of single-use disposable stands at events. Kemp is also recognized for her active participation and leadership within the Association of Exhibition Organisers, contributing to various industry working groups.

In her new position at ExCeL, which is set to complete a significant expansion of 25,000 square meters in October of this year, Kemp will oversee daily operations, striving for continuous improvement and efficiency in processes. She will manage key operational teams including Event Management, Traffic, Parking, and Cleaning & Waste, ensuring the venue’s success and operational excellence.
