Hilton Closes 2024 with Record Growth in the Caribbean and Latin America

Hilton ended 2024 with historic expansion in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA), reaching nearly 280 hotels in over 30 countries and a record 130 projects in development. The company signed more deals than ever, strengthening its presence in key markets like Mexico, Brazil, and the Caribbean.
“2024 was a landmark year for Hilton in the region,” said Pablo Maturana, Vice President of Development for Latin America and the Caribbean. “With more deals signed than in any previous year, we are experiencing unprecedented growth driven by demand for our brands and the trust of developers and travelers.”
The expansion included 64 new openings, with significant growth in the luxury and lifestyle segments. Hilton also entered five new markets, including Paraguay, Bonaire, and Antigua and Barbuda. Additionally, Motto by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Curio Collection by Hilton debuted in new countries, further diversifying the company’s portfolio.
In 2025, Hilton will open Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique and Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, followed by new properties in Chile and St. Thomas. Its luxury and lifestyle expansion will continue with Conrad Los Cabos and Waldorf Astoria San Miguel de Allende set to open in 2027. Meanwhile, brands like Hampton by Hilton, Tru by Hilton, and Home2 Suites by Hilton will further expand across the region.
The Spark by Hilton brand, focused on the premium economy segment, will launch in 2025, reinforcing Hilton’s leadership in global hospitality.
