Silver Airways Opens Pensacola-Fort Lauderdale Daily Service
Whether soaking up the sun and throwing back an ice-cold beer at one of the country’s best beach honky-tonks Flora-Bama or traveling to/from Pensacola’s Naval Air Station, you no longer have to spend more than nine hours driving to travel between the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast and South Florida.
As the leading airline of the I-10 Gulf Coast region serving destinations from Pensacola, Destin-Fort Walton Beach and Tallahassee, Silver Airways today started daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS), ideal for business, leisure and military travelers.In addition, Silver is soon introducing new discounted fares for active-duty military on all flights.
To celebrate the new nonstop Fort Lauderdale – Pensacola service, Silver is offering fares from $89 available at for a limited time for travel on or before May 22, 2019, for ticketing before February 28, 2019.
Silver also recently launched new daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), and unveiled its first themed aircraft – “Tortuga One” – as the official airline of the Minor League Baseball team Daytona Tortugas.
The new service includes convenient connections from Daytona Beach beyond Fort Lauderdale to Key West and many popular Bahamian Family Islands, including Marsh Harbor and Treasure Cay in the Abacos, Eleuthera’s Governor’s Harbour and North Eleuthera, Freeport and George Town in Great Exuma.
Silver Airways also this week presented the Okaloosa County Aviation Board with its proposed plans to start daily nonstop service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) located at Eglin Air Force Base on May 17, 2019.
