Lindblad Expeditions Offers Agent Webinar on Central America

Lindblad Expeditions is conducting a travel agent webinar on Aug. 9 devoted to Central America. The webinar, led by Expedition Leader Gustavo Abarca Guerrero, will explore Lindblad’s three itineraries to the Pacific coasts of Panama and Costa Rica.

Designed to help agents sell Lindblad and increase repeat and referral business, attendees will learn how their clients can travel with one expert for every 15 guests aboard the 62-passenger National Geographic Sea Lion and how the expedition leader can tailor the day’s events to guests’ preferred activity level. Lindblad has exclusive access to Barro Colorado Island’s Smithsonian Research Station in the Panama Canal, where Smithsonian experts can help passengers explore the ecosystem.

The three itineraries include the eight-day “The Panama Canal and the Wonders of Costa Rica,” the 11-day “Costa Rica to Panama + Monteverde Cloud Forest,” and the 15-day “Panama to Costa Rica + Monteverde, Arenal Volcano and Sarapiqui.”

Kathy Johns, director of travel agency sales, will host the one-hour session that will take place live at 2 p.m. ET and 11 a.m. PT on Aug. 9. The session will be followed by a Q&A.
