Mazatlan's Fall Events Target International Travelers
Mazatlan, Mexico's "Colonial City on the Beach," will host a series of events this fall to attract international travelers who seek adventure, culture, and paradise.
Mazatlan, known as the Pearl of the Pacific, is a budget-friendly, year-round beach destination with a Colonial District that has over 400 years of history. This fall, the city has a calendar of events that includes the Mazatlan Cultural Fest, the Day of the Dead Celebration, and the Mazatlan Bike Tour.
The Mazatlan Cultural Festival runs from October through December 2015 and celebrates the importance of performing arts to the city's culture. High-caliber artists take to the city's theaters, churches, squares, and open spaces to engage audiences through musical, theatrical, dance, literature, and fine art performances.
Mazatlan's Day of the Dead "Dia De Los Muertos" Celebration is a two day festival that offers visitors from across the globe the opportunity to experience a unique Mexican cultural experience that has been celebrated for thousands of years. On November 1st and 2nd, the city of Mazatlan is taken over by skeleton masks and orange marigolds to honor the dead through parades, music, performances, and treats.
The Mazatlan Bike tour, which highlights Mazatlan's adventure travel activities, is November 22-23, 2015. All levels of cyclists from around the globe bike over 100 miles over two days to experience Mexico from the seat of their bike. Participants enjoy biking along the water, touring Mazatlan's boardwalk, and the end-of-race beach party to celebrate the feat.
