Royal Caribbean’s 3,114-passenger Voyager of the Seas, the largest cruise ship ever based in Texas, returns to the Lone Star State in December for its second winter season. Prices have been sharply reduced for the Nov. 29-Dec. 14 trans-Atlantic crossing from Barcelona.

Interior (no-view) staterooms are now available for as little as $399 per person. Oceanview staterooms start at $599, balcony accommodations at $1,229 and deluxe suites at $1,999.

The Voyager’s crossing includes stops at Cartagena, Spain; Funchal, Madeira; Santa Cruz, Canary Islands; Nassau, Bahamas; and Miami. Royal Caribbean is planning for the Voyager to return to its home port of Galveston, even though the Port of Galveston is currently closed in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.
