Since May 1, international visitors who are fully vaccinated are able to travel to the Bahamas and not be tested for COVID-19 before they travel.

The Bahamas have started welcoming international visitors with no testing requirements as long as they are fully vaccinated, two weeks out from the final dose of their vaccine, against COVID-19.

All travelers will still be required to upload proof of vaccination on the Bahamas Health Travel Visa, through the Government of the Bahamas website here.

Those who are not yet vaccinated can still travel, but they will be required to provide a negative test taken no more than five days prior to arrival, and rapid antigen testing if their trip is for longer than four nights and five days.

As the Bahamas continues to ease travel restrictions, airlines have also started to ramp up service to the island in anticipation of higher demand.
