Holland America Unveils Grand World and Antarctica Voyages

Holland America Line has revealed its 2027 Grand Voyages, offering two distinct epic journeys departing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale. Guests can choose the 129-day Grand World Voyage aboard Volendam, which circles the globe visiting 53 ports in 28 countries, or the 70-day Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage on Zaandam, exploring 31 ports in 13 countries and featuring an immersive four-day Antarctica experience. Both voyages highlight exclusive ports, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and extended stays for deeper exploration.
The Grand World Voyage departs on January 5, 2027, aboard the Volendam. The itinerary features stops in Easter Island, Australia, Indonesia, and Africa, with rare calls at Jamestown, St. Helena, and Georgetown, Ascension Island — both nearly inaccessible South Atlantic islands. This journey offers access to 81 UNESCO sites, including the Great Barrier Reef, Taj Mahal, and Mont-Saint-Michel, and includes seven overnight stays in major destinations like Copenhagen, Cape Town, and Bordeaux.
The Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage sails January 3, 2027, aboard Zaandam, offering one of the most in-depth cruises of the region. Guests will enjoy dramatic scenic cruising through Chilean fjords, a crossing of the Drake Passage, and time at Robinson Crusoe Island. This voyage includes five overnight stays, among them Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, and access to 28 UNESCO sites such as Machu Picchu and the Galápagos Islands.
Travelers can now secure a Future Cruise Request to gain priority booking. Early reservations come with generous perks, including up to $2,000 onboard credit, complimentary Wi-Fi, roundtrip airport transfers, air credits, and luggage service for select staterooms. A 3% pay-in-full discount is also available for a limited time.
Both Grand Voyages offer elevated onboard experiences, with themed gala evenings, regional cuisine, cultural guest performers, and immersive educational programming. With smaller, elegant ships like Volendam and Zaandam, Holland America delivers a refined, intimate atmosphere and access to ports unavailable to larger vessels — making these 2027 Grand Voyages unforgettable adventures for seasoned travelers.
