Island Routes Unveils New Double-Decker Catamaran

The newest addition to the Island Routes Caribbean Adventures' fleet of catamarans is  Sol Mate, the first double-decker catamaran in Nassau.

The two-level, 65-foot Sol Mate, which is available exclusively to guests staying at Sandals Royal Bahamian, can accommodate 150 passengers and is equipped with an open bar, DJ station, snorkeling gear and a water slide.

A crew of nine and a captain operate the catamaran. A four-hour excursion with snorkeling, a stop at Rose Island, music and dancing and is priced at $125 per person.

The Nassau Lover's Rock sailing cruises the coastline at sunset and is priced at $109 per person.

"This is a real game-changer for sea excursions in the Bahamas," said Adam Stewart, CEO of Island Routes.
