A new year is round the corner and new travel trends will come along with it. But this is still 2019, and since the year will be coming to a close a couple of weeks from now, it’s time to check out what the trendiest travel destinations were over the past twelve months.

That would have sounded like a huge, quasi-impossible task to do some thirty years ago, but in these times Google Trends can work it out. All we have to do is click on Google Trend’s Year in Search and voila!
