AdventureSmith Offers Savings in Sea of Cortez

AdventureSmith Explorations, a small-ship adventure and eco-tourism specialist, is offering savings of $800 per person or $1,600 per cabin on its eight-day Sea of Cortez yacht cruise on select dates from December through March.

The cruise is operated by the 21-guest Safari Quest luxury yacht. Charter savings are available during this period based on availability; children receive 25 percent off from January through March 16. The Sea of Cortez Luxury Yacht Cruise begins with a walking tour of Baja California before boarding the Safari Quest.

While on board, expert guides, the captain and crew look for opportunities to view marine wildlife including dolphins, sea lions and spouting whales. Stops are planned on the Baja Peninsula at Isla Coyote and La Paz. Travelers choose to hike, bird-watch, kayak, canoe, snorkel, scuba dive and ride horses.

The cruise departs from Loreto with rates starting at $5,494 per person. Select departure dates include December 13, January 6, January 13, January 20, and January 27. The company works with agents and offers a 10 percent commission.
