After Cuba Ike moving towards Texas, to rise to class 3

EE.UU. After killing 75 in Haiti and Cuba and seriously damaging the bigger Caribbean islands, hurricane Ike has reached the Mexican Gulf, moving at a velocity of 115km/h to the north-west.
According tot eh National Hurricane Centre in Miami, Ike will reach the coasts of Texas on Saturday. The bigger cities, like Corpus Christi and Galveston, are already carrying out the evacuation plan and all oil and gas platforms are preparing to close down, with possible repercussions for the economy.
Ike could make landfall as class 3 hurricane, with winds over 180km/h and torrential rains. At the moment Ike is a category 1 storm, but the warm currents of the Gulf could increase its strength and danger. The western part of Cuba and the tip of Florida are still in heavy weather, rising floods.
