Canadian Alliance Hosted Corporate Travel Event
More than 150 corporate travel professionals gathered last week at the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto for two days of networking and education at the Canadian Alliance of Business Travel´s Annual Conference and Exhibitor Showcase. The event drew praise from attendees, including corporate travel managers and suppliers.
“Each Canadian Alliance event I attend is better than the last,” said Sue Swenson, CTC; Manager, Travel & Aviation Corporate Services; EnCana Corporation. “The knowledge and contacts I take away from these events helps me shape a better travel program for my company.”
Ian Race Vice President, Sales & Client Service, Vision 2000 Travel Group, added, “As a supplier focused on the Canadian market, it´s important to me to connect with the largest audience of Canadian travel managers. The Canadian Alliance conference gives me that opportunity.”
During the conference, the Canadian Alliance unveiled its redesigned logo. The logo is designed to emphasize the organization´s brand as the Canadian Alliance, while continuing to underscore the fact that the Canadian Alliance approaches corporate travel management “From a Canadian Perspective.”
The organization also announced that it has moved to a new, permanent office in Calgary.
