Among the vendors at the 2007 Travel and Leisure Expo will be the exposition’s sponsor, Carnival Cruise Lines, and they will be offering cruises around the world.

The expo will be February 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a joint effort by the radio station Cool 104.7 and the Daily Citizen to promote businesses dealing with travel and leisure.

The expo will contain 60 different vendors from people selling everything from health insurance to luggage, said Ken Madden, owner of Cool 104.7 and co-owner of the local franchise of the Cruise Planners travel agency.

Carnival will have a seminar at the expo about their cruises. The company has 21 cruise ships going to Europe, Alaska, the Bahamas, Belize, Mexico, Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean. Some of these ships have 22 lounges and bars in addition to multiple restaurants, she said. Many rooms have a balcony overlooking the ocean, she said.
