Carnival Triumph to Operate New Caribbean Itinerary
Carnival Cruise Lines’ 2,758-passenger Carnival Triumph will operate a new four-port seven-day “Exotic Eastern Caribbean” itinerary from Miami beginning April 2007 that features a combination of diverse and captivating ports of call.
Stops on the itinerary include Half Moon Cay, a Bahamian private island; San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Thomas, USVI.; and Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, the Caribbean’s newest port of call.
The program will operate seasonally, with cruises departing from Miami every other Sunday from April 21 through August 11, 2007.
The line currently has three new ships on order: the 110,000-ton Carnival Freedom, scheduled for delivery in March 2007, the 112,000-ton Carnival Splendor slated to enter service in spring 2008, and an as-yet-unnamed 130,000-ton Super Liner –to be the largest “Fun Ship” ever constructed – set to debut in fall 2009.
