Central, Eastern U.S. to Face Traffic Disruption for Winter Storms

Travelling may become a bit difficult in the Great Lakes as cold storm is said to reach northeast this weekend.
Snowfall in Upper Peninsula of Michigan will bring gusts of cold air. Snow will spread northward from Nebraska into South Dakota, Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and northern Michigan.
About 6 inches snowfall or higher amounts will cause delay on the roads and for airline passengers.
The conditions will be critical and motorists are advised to drive with caution for a few extra minutes to avoid accidents. Snow showers will linger across the Upper Midwest and upper Great Lakes during the first half of the weekend.
However extreme weather conditions are not expected yet to cause tree damages, power outrage but roads and bridges will remain slippery.
Rain is likely to follow and there are chances of heavy thunderstorm in the Gulf coast.
