Classic Vacation Now Connected to HBSI, Outrigger Direct Connect

Classic Vacations is now connected via HBSI and Outrigger Direct Connect to over 27 properties in Hawaii, Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. HBSI and Outrigger technologies connect travel suppliers and distributors for instant transmission of availability, rates, inventory, and reservation confirmations.

“Travel Advisors can now be completely confident they are getting the best price, most accurate availability and real-time room confirmations at top-selling resorts like Fairmont, Atlantis Paradise Island, Fiesta Americana, Sandals and Outrigger,” said Greg Bernd, co-president of Classic Vacations.

Classic can now help advisors close a sale faster by providing instant confirmation of inventory. New promotions will be loaded immediately, so advisors won’t feel they need to shop around for the best price. In early 2011, Classic will be adding more than 100 additional properties from partners such as AM Resorts, Four Seasons, Hilton and many more while expanding connectivity to Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and Tahiti.

By mid-year, Classic is planning to have well over 200 resorts connected. “We also have a direct connection for Hertz and Alamo,” said Bernd. “This provides instant access to the entire fleet at the best prices.”
