With an ice-strengthened hull and advanced satellite navigational equipment, the 122-passenger Clipper Adventurer is capable now of transporting passengers in a comfortable manner to virtually anywhere on the face of the earth.

The best example of this range of itineraries is found on the ship´s fall and winter schedules, where it travels on various voyages from the Panama Canal to the Antarctic Peninsula.

Guests can also visit Elephant Island, which is where explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and his sailors were rescued during their legendary attempt to cross the Ross Ice Shelf and the Antarctic continent.

In Central America and northern South America, guests will encounter the dense coastal rain forests of Panama´s Darien Jungle and crystal-clear waters surrounding remote Ecuadorian islands.

From Peru to Chile, onboard naturalists will point out the towering, snow-covered peaks and sparkling lakes of Lauca National Park, as well as lead a day-trip excursion to Chile´s Atacama Desert, whose landscape is nicknamed "The Valley of the Moon."

The Holy Grail for naturalists is an exploration along the Antarctic Peninsula, which guests will view up close during Zodiac expeditions and hikes each day of the journey.
