Cruise North Introduces Two New Itineraries to Newfoundland, Labrador
Inuit-owned Cruise North Expeditions is introducing two new Northern itineraries for summer 2007: a seven-night Newfoundland & Labrador expedition from St. John’s to Goose Bay and an eight-night exploration of Labrador’s northern coast, one of Canada’s least-visited and most stunning regions.
This singular expedition features Canada’s newest national park, Torngat Mountains National Park, and the first passenger navigation of the inside passage of Eclipse Sound.
Cruise North’s seven-night expedition to Newfoundland and Labrador, from June 18 to 25, starts in the historic capital of St. John’s and sails northward calling in at remote outpost fishing villages, historical sites and protected parklands. The waters here are home to some 22 species of whales, dolphins and porpoises who love to show off.
The eight-night Labrador North expedition departs Goose Bay on June 25 and arrives in Kuujjuaq, the southern tip of the Arctic, on July 3 positioned for Cruise North’s first Arctic expedition of the season.
