Discovery World Cruises Rolls Out Winter 2007-2008 Program with Extra 10 Percent Savings
Unique Ocean voyages to Antarctica, the Falklands, Easter Island, the Galapagos, Southern Caribbean Isles and the Amazon Stately King penguins, towering icebergs and pink dolphins are among some of the exciting sights awaiting guests aboard Discovery liners next winter.
A specialist in exploring exotic and faraway places in comfort and style, Discovery World Cruises will offer 21 spectacular cruise tours, from 11 to 48 days, to Antarctica, the Falklands, South America, the Amazon River, the Galapagos and Easter Island.
To celebrate the launch of the new season, Discovery World Cruises is offering an additional 10 percent off already discounted early booking fares for reservations made before February 28 next year.
The 2007/2008 winter program will start earlier than ever with the first cruise departing Lisbon for Rio de Janeiro on November 7, calling at the Cape Verde Islands and Madeira along the way. Discovery World has added an additional two departure dates on the popular 15-night Antarctica cruise and, after a two-year hiatus, will also be returning to the Falklands and South Georgia.
Discovery will be returning to the Amazon basin for the first time since winter 2005 and there will be a third season of cruises in the Galapagos, combining overnights in San Cristobal with destinations such as Santiago, Quito, and Costa Rica and a 40-night itinerary that includes Antarctica.
