Dominican Cruise Season Still Active in Casa de Campo Seaport
With the splendor that characterizes the majesty of transatlantic cruise ship “Serenade of the Seas,” the liner from Royal Caribbean made intermediate port call in Casa de Campo, in the Dominican Republic’s east region.
Resort executives and local representatives boarded the ship to participate in a welcoming ceremony on the part of the ship’s authorities and crew, among them captain Stig Nilsen and purser Ariel Becker. The event marks the official start of the first visit of the ship –90 tons and 962 feet- to a Dominican port.
In the ceremony Jocelyn Nuñez and Ariel Perez, representatives of the tourism complex gave the “key” to Casa de Campo to the Serenade of the Sea’s captain and public relations director Sandra Lopez delivered the welcome speech.
