Dominican Republic Doing its Own in London’s World Travel Fair

A 239-square-yard promotional stand is marking the Dominican Republic’s spot in London’s International World Travel Market Fair 2009 that kicked off yesterday and will end on Nov. 12.

The 17 companies attending the event include travel agencies, hotels, tour operators and service providers include the National Association Hotels and Restaurants, Amhsa Marina, Casa de Campo, Chorale Hospitality Group, Domitur, Hello Tours, Majestic Resorts Europe, Hotels Oasis & Resorts, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, Puntacana Resort & Club, VIP Travel Services and Viva Wyndham Resorts.

The WTM fair, which had 49,963 worldwide participants last year, with 5,615 exhibitors from 187 countries, is taking place in Excel London and is one of the travel and tourism industry’s most significant and lucrative events.
