Discovery World Cruises added a second ship, the Explorer II, under a long-term lease. The 394-berth Explorer II, formerly the Minerva operated by Swan Hellenic, will undergo a “soft refurbishment program” before entering service with Discovery, the company said.

UK-based All Leisure Group owns Discovery World Cruises, which also operates as Voyages of Discovery in Europe, and its one ship, the 650-berth Discovery.

Discovery said that the 12,500-ton Explorer II will sail to destinations including southern Africa, the Red and Black Seas, Libya, the Mediterranean, the Norwegian Fjords, the Arctic, Canada, the U.S. Eastern Seaboard and South America.
