FITVEN 2012 to Get Cracking on July 18

The launching of 2012 Travel International Fair (Fitven) is scheduled for July 18, as communicated on Thursday by the executive director of the Travel National Institute (Inatur), David Rivas, during the pre-sale of advertising spaces and booth reserving at the international fair’s Products and Services pavilion.
Rivas announced that Fitven 2012, to be held September 6 – 9 at Venetur Alba Caracas Hotel, at the open spaces of Teresa Carreño Theater and Los Museos Square, in Caracas, will feature tons of “emotion, the Caracas spirit and Venezuela warmth.”
During the pre-sale, travel services providers and companies related to the sector go familiar with Fitven 2012’s concept, organizational structure and benefits, as well as the advertising spaces and established participation modes (exchange or sponsors).
“With this pre-sale we strengthen trade relations with travel services providers and companies related, in order to hold an organized and high-quality Fitven”, Rivas pointed out.
Fitven will be an excellent opportunity to show the country’s natural attractions and biological diversity, as well as the most-visited destinations, such as beaches, plains, sand dunes and jungles.
Likewise, several actions are going to be carried out in terms of sociocultural exchange among the regions that take tourism as a fundamental activity in the construction of a new socio-productive model.
On the other hand, professional exchange rounds are going to be held so as to increase the distribution of national and international services or products, as well as to put companies on the map and contribute to the development of communities devoted to the sector.
The event is going to include a 645 square-meter pavilion to showcase national tourism offers and represent the anteroom of the International Pavilion, which will put together the 24 booths of the participating countries within 1,355 square meters.
Furthermore, a Products and Services Pavilion is going to be mounted with 91 booths within 1,550 square meters as well as a craft area with 76 exhibition spaces of four square meters each, according to the information provided by the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur).
