Gap Adventures Introduces Agent Online Reservation Platform

Gap Adventures is rolling out a new online reservation platform for sales agents worldwide. Developed based on agent feedback, the enhanced booking engine was designed to be simpler and more efficient.

Launched since Jan. 20, the reservation platform has new features and benefits, including improved user interface, a faster-loading home page, the ability to confirm all services at once with one click, lists for “my recent bookings” and “agency recent bookings,” the ability to search for bookings by traveler name and add pre/post-tour hotel nights directly from the booking overview page, ways to add and remove extras such as kayaking and camping in Antarctica, a clearer and prominent display of required traveler information, improved resources and displays of agent-specific promotions. The new Sherpa is compatible with Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer 7 and above.
