Martinique’s International Airport Reopens

The Airport Management Team of Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport informs all passengers that the airport is opened for traffic from 9 a.m. today 19 September.

No damage was reported to the airport infrastructure as Hurricane Maria hit Martinique as a category 4 Hurricane.

Special thanks to the airport staff and the fire and rescue team who ensured a quick start of operations this morning.

We shall advise all passengers to revert to their respective airlines for any updates on their flight schedule before heading to the airport.

The airport information desk will provide them with assistance on the following number: +596 596 42 19 95 if calling from abroad 0596 42 19 95 if calling from Martinique, France and any French territories.

The last but not least, due to the yesterday flights cancellations, we strongly recommend all our passengers to remain patient and polite while rebooking options are being organized by the different carriers.
