New Itineraries, Theme Departures Highlight American Safari Cruises’ 2007 Mexico Season
A rare opportunity awaits to visit the seldom-seen Galapagos of the North, the northern islands of Mexico’s Sea of Cortes. Known as the “Aquarium of the World”, the Biosphere Reserve is home to many species of whales, dolphins, sea birds, fish and plant life that is found nowhere else on the planet.
For the 2007 season, American Safari Cruises has added a series of special theme cruises that offer an enriching experience by means of photography, diving and astronomy.
2007 departures on the northern route are scheduled for April 1 and 10, November 8 and 25, and December 4 on a 10-day, 9-night itinerary, roundtrip from Loreto. Prices begin at $5,895 per person, double occupancy.
Theme cruises added for 2007 enable guests to pursue their hobbies and interests or learn new ones with onboard experts while exploring the southern portion of the Sea of Cortes between Loreto and La Paz. A January 14 astronomy cruise with provided telescopes and educational programs takes advantage of the exceptional stargazing skies of Baja California.
