Palm Beach CVB Launches Visitors’ Guide iPhone App
The Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau announced the release of the destination’s official tourism iPhone App. Available in the Travel Section of the iTunes online store, the free “Palm Beach Florida Travel Companion” gives visitors instant access to a complete listing of hotels and resorts, restaurants, upcoming events and special hotel offers with discounts on accommodations.
Features include a detailed description of each event, restaurant and hotel, including phone listing, images and website; interactive maps, which will allow visitors to map out directions from their current location and easily navigate to their desired location; access to photos and videos of The Palm Beaches; a “Favorites” tab so visitors can store places and events they have enjoyed for future visits, and/or to share with others; and real-time, automatic updates whenever content is added or revised by CVB staff, ensuring complete, accurate information for users.
One of the most important capabilities of the new application is the use of a single software platform that stores all CVB industry content, which ensures both industry partners and visitors that updates to important information will be uniform across print, online and mobile marketing tools.
