Three ‘Grand Pacific’ cruises between the US West Coast and Sydney are available aboard the super liners Sun Princess and Regal Princess in August and September 2007 and April 2008.

Pampered passengers aboard the two ships will slow down to “island time” as their exotic itineraries take them to postcard Pacific paradises in Tahiti, Hawaii, Fiji, Cook Islands, American Samoa, Kiribati and New Zealand.

The three cruises are positional voyages for Regal Princess and Sun Princess which will cruise from Australia from October 2007 and November 2007 respectively as the biggest liners ever based here for Australians.

Boasting 410 affordable balcony cabins and accommodating 2,022 passengers, the 77,000-ton Sun Princess will be based in Sydney from November 2007 to April 2008, offering premium level cruises for discerning Australians keen to sail the South Pacific in style

Meanwhile, the 70,000-ton Regal Princess –with 2,050 passengers and 184 balcony cabins- will be transformed into Pacific Dawn for sister line P&O Cruises from October 2007.

She will become the biggest liner ever based in Australia year-round, with cruises tailored for all ages from Sydney to the South Pacific.
