Royal Caribbean Virtual Trade Show Gathered 5,000 Agents

Royal Caribbean Virtual Trade Show Drew 5,000 Agents
Royal Caribbean International held its third virtual trade show on Sept. 28, with more than 5,000 travel agents pre-registered. The Calling on the World Virtual Expo offered live chats with executives, development workshops and virtual booths offering the information about destinations, ports, shore excursions, onboard experiences and selling opportunities.
The line is offering a two-day WOW Sale, Sept. 29 to 30, which offers up to $200 onboard credit per stateroom on new bookings with 50 percent reduced deposits for sailings commencing after Jan. 1. Guests will receive a $50 onboard credit per stateroom and $50-per-person reduced deposit on a new booking for a three- to five-night sailing, $100 onboard credit and $125 reduced deposits for a six- to nine-night sailing, and $200 onboard credit and a $225 reduced deposit for a 10-night or longer itinerary.
The Royal Incentive Rewards are future cruise certificates paid in full upfront by the travel professional and sold to vacationers to claim for a future sailing aboard a Royal Caribbean ship. Once the vacationer is ready to book a cruise, they simply call the Royal Incentive Rewards Desk, and the cruise line will handle the rest. All Royal Incentive Rewards cruise certificates are for two guests and (except for bronze-level certificates) include the cruise fare, applicable government taxes and fees, and standard recommended gratuities.
Calling on the World Virtual Expo is available on demand for another 90 days at www.RoyalCaribbeanVirtualExpo.com. It offered information about advanced selling tools available through CruisingPower.com like ChoiceAir and My Marketing Center. Agents also can earned CLIA credits for participating in online workshops on topics such as “Europe -- Destination and Culture,” “Royal Caribbean’s Onboard Experiences,” “How to Make More Money” and “Building Business with Social Media.”
