Silversea Cruises is changing its spa provider from Steiner Leisure’s Mandara Spas, opting to create its own spa brand managed by Steiner, the luxury line said last week.

Silversea said it launched its new spa concept and brand on the Silver Shadow, one of it four-ships, and renamed the new brand, The Spa at Silversea. The spas will feature new treatments and programs “designed to offer a more personalized and holistic spa experience.”

The facilities will have refurbished decor with new artwork, contemporary furnishings and a white and silver color palette. The new spa concept will be implemented aboard the Silver Wind in July, and then expanded to the line’s two remaining ships, the Silver Cloud and the Silver Whisper, in the following months.

Among the new spa treatments and services is a selection of specialized Wellness Ceremonies designed to address specific concerns such as aging skin, cellulite, arthritis, poor circulation, sore muscles and more, Silversea said.

Silversea also said it will incorporate more spa therapies for men and treatments designed for couples, such as an in-suite massage.
