Spanish chain RIU opened its biggest hotel in Mexico, the fifth overall in that country

Mexico._ The oceanfront 700-room ClubHotel Riu Jalisco –the biggest of the 96 establishments owned by hotel chain RIU- opened its doors last May 14 in Puerto Vallarta, in the Mexican Pacific, with a top-quality service and built in the most genuine Mexican architectural style and ambiance.

This is also the company’s fifth resort in Mexico where the chain started out its expansion efforts in the summer of 1997 with the inauguration of the RIU Yucatan.

ClubHotel Riu Jalisco is mostly aimed at the U.S., Mexican and Latin American markets in general terms, as well as at Spanish guests.

It’s a five-star, all-inclusive hotel featuring an assorted cuisine and a wide variety of sport and entertainment offers.

RIU Hotels owns a grand total of 96 establishments in 10 different countries, waited on by 12,500 employees. The chain has been specialized in sun-and-beach vacationing tourism since 1953.
