Travel Channel International Teams Up with World Travel Market 2006
Travel Channel International, the largest pan-European TV channel dedicated to travel and World Travel Market, which is expecting a record event when it opens its doors at ExCeL London in November, have linked up on two major projects.
The two international brands will be working together to produce a 30-minute program to capture the color and excitement of the event as well as news, trends, developments, expert opinion and VIP’s at World Travel Market.
The program will be broadcast in late November and repeated approximately 15 times until early December. More than 20 FAM trip prizes will be given away at the World Stage, hosted by a TV celebrity.
Fiona Jeffery, World Travel Market’s Managing Director said a close relationship between the two international brands was a natural brand fit.
“Travel Channel has experienced phenomenal growth over the last year, increasing distribution by 5 percent up to 37.6 million homes across Europe,” she said.
