Venezuelan carrier Avior Airlines on Friday started operating flights twice a week between Valencia and Curacao and on the same day between Maracaibo and Curacao.

Air Canada is expanding its service to the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao in time for the summer season. The carrier announced that it would be expanding its seasonal service to year-round flights, with a nonstop Toronto-Curacao flight every Friday.

Low-cost carrier Viva Aerobus officially announced new service from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport to Monterrey and Guadalajara. The three weekly flights use Airbus A320 aircraft that seat 180 passengers and Boeing 737 aircraft that seat 148 passengers. Viva Aerobus currently serves 21 destinations in Mexico.

Air Europa, Spain’s largest privately-owned airline, this week inaugurated its first scheduled flight with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will now operate its Madrid-Miami route. This route is currently operating five times a week, although it will become a daily flight as of this July.
Caribbean Airlines' revised baggage policy takes effect April 15 and allows one free piece of checked baggage and one carry-on with the option to pay for up to three additional checked pieces not exceeding 50 pounds each.
