Aeroflot and Aerolineas Argentinas, the flag carriers and largest airlines in Russia and Argentina respectively, signed a code-sharing agreement today at the Moscow International Tourism & Trade Exhibition (MITT 2015). The agreement between the two airlines, both members of the SkyTeam global alliance, will strengthen the carriers’ positions in both markets and provide customers with greater convenience and flexibility in their travel.

In line with its strategy to reinforce connectivity across its international markets, TAM Airlines, part of LATAM Airlines Group, has launched a new route that connects Spain with Brazil. The flights will start on October 1.

The Cuba Travel Services charter flight, operated by Sun Country Airlines, leaves John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport in New York City and flies three hours straight to Havana, Cuba. In the past, charter flights have left from Florida.

Ryanair’s board has approved plans to start flying to the United States, bringing the budget airline’s long-awaited foray into long-haul flights a step closer.

JetBlue —which last summer introduced private suites, the longest beds in the United States domestic market and a tapas-style menu as part of its new Mint business-class cabin— has announced that it will expand its Mint service to the Caribbean.

The flights will enable convenient connections to Interjet’s service to a wide array of destinations within Mexico, including such tourism destinations as Mazatlan, Cancun, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.
