Avianca will inaugurate its nonstop flights between Bogota, Colombia, and Los Angeles on July 1. The flight will arrive to Los Angeles International Airport and will operate four times a week served by modern Airbus A330 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. It will also allow travelers to connect in a faster and more efficient way to destinations in the U.S.

Aeromexico, Mexico's global airline, announced that it will begin to operate four weekly flights between Mexico City and Los Angeles with its Boeing 787 Dreamliner as of April 5th, 2015. The flight schedules served with the most modern aircraft of the 21st century.

Starting next week, tour operator Cuba Travel Services will begin offering what it says is the first regularly scheduled direct charter service from New York to Havana since President Barack Obama restored diplomatic relations with the island nation in December.

Volaris, the ultra-low cost airline operating the most extensive domestic route network servicing the US and Mexico, inaugurated new international service connecting the city of Tijuana to the San Francisco (Oakland) area with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

Alaska Airlines has submitted its application to begin two nonstop services from Orange County, California, to Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The planned year-round service will operate thrice-weekly between Orange County and Puerto Vallarta.
