Volaris, the ultra-low-cost Mexican airline with the most extensive route network servicing Mexico and the US, announced a nonstop flight to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport from Guadalajara, starting July 15, 2015. The inaugural fare is starting at US $204.

FlyMontserrat is to resume its service between Antigua and Barbuda from Monday, March 30. The airline stepped in to help in December when SVG Air pulled out of Montserrat, Antigua and Barbuda leaving passengers without service for six weeks in the peak season.

Major airlines, some of which already lease aircraft to charter companies for Cuba flights, have expressed their interest in operating their own service to the island. United Airlines said in January that it plans to serve Cuba from hubs in Newark and Houston once it gets the okay.

Aeromexico announces that it will begin offering four weekly flights in April connecting Mexico City and Monterrey with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, widely considered one of the world's most modern aircraft.

Aerolineas Argentinas has announced that it will begin direct service from Miami International Airport to the city of Cordoba beginning this summer. Argentina’s flag carrier will launch the new route on Saturday, July 4, with direct flights from MIA to the South American country.

There’s a new gateway from France to several Caribbean destinations. Air France and Air Antilles have signed a codeshare agreement to partner on the offer of six new destinations in the Caribbean.
