Leading the pack for the resurgence of the real estate market in the Dominican Republic, Group Metro, a real estate and transportation company based in Santo Domingo, has surpassed its goals for 2011 experiencing tremendous sales up 300 percent since 2010 -- a rare feat in these economic times.

Delta Air Lines and GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes have announced a long-term exclusive commercial alliance. Under the agreement, Delta and GOL, which has a 40 percent market share in Brazil, will expand cooperation.
