St Kitts and Nevis has officially launched its first-ever National Yachting Policy. The new policy, which was unveiled this week, aims to develop a “sustainable yachting sector,” according to McClean Hobson, director of Maritime Affairs.

This morning the Belize Tourism Board’s cruise director, Valdemar Andrade, via telephone confirmed that three more cruise ships, two from Carnival Cruise Line and one from Royal Caribbean, scheduled to call on Belize today, had to turn back because of unfavorable weather conditions.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. announced that Majesty of the Seas will transfer from its Royal Caribbean International cruise brand to its Pullmantur brand in 2016. Majesty of the Seas' last 3-night sailing for Royal Caribbean International will depart on April 29, 2016.

Louis Cruises is to add a third ship, Celestyal Odyssey, to its Greek fleet to cater for increased customer demand in the Aegean in 2015.

The high-tech ship, called a "leap" forward by Royal Caribbean Chairman Richard Fain, was christened by actress and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth, who has served as the ship's godmother for over a year in various capacities.
