Carnival Cruise Lines is using social media to showcase the launch of the new Carnival Breeze. First-time Carnival cruiser Janell Wheeler, an “American Idol” contestant from Season 9, will document her experiences.

Azamara Club Cruises is offering onboard credit of up to $500 per stateroom on select 2013 Asia and South America voyages, as well as an upgrade from Club Oceanview to Club Veranda stateroom. The offer is applicable for bookings made June 4 to 8.

Royal Caribbean International will boost its China capacity in June 2013, when it deploys the 3,114-passenger Mariner of the Seas to replace the 1,800-passenger Legend of the Seas.
