MSC Cruises is a sponsor of CowParade 2008 in Capri, Italy, so two artist-created fiberglass cows bear the MSC logo. The open-air art event is being held in Capri through July 11.
Crystal Cruises’ new “Theater at Sea” on Crystal Serenity will feature a variety of recognizable performers during the 12-day “Italian Treasures” itinerary from Venice to Monte Carlo departing September 12.
The Pride of Aloha ship, which cruised Hawaiian waters from 2004 to early May, will shift to a Miami-Bahamas route beginning July 14. Pride of Aloha will also get back its original name –Norwegian Sky- for its new cruise duty. The ship is to join Norwegian’s international fleet and be outfitted with a casino.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises will offer an extended celebration of the food, wine and music during a 28-night “Autumn Sojourn in The Mediterranean” voyage aboard the 700-guest Seven Seas Voyager.
MSC Cruises’ new flagship, the MSC Poesia, will depart on seven-night cruises to Greece, Turkey and Croatia from Venice every Saturday through Nov. 8. The 92,400-ton ship has 1,275 staterooms, of which 80 percent are outside staterooms and 65 percent have a balcony.
Sunsail, a yacht charter company, will add a new range of yachts to its fleet in Martinique later this year.
