The Belize Tourism Board announced its sponsorship of the Third Annual World Conference for Responsible Tourism from May 19 through May 21. This international conference is organized by the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT), and is taking place at the University of Belize, in the capital city of Belmopan.
Antigua and Barbuda’s Romantic Rhythms Music Festival, scheduled for mid-June, has been canceled due to the global economic crisis, said Eleston Adams of the Caribbean country’s Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture.
