The Jamaica Tourist Board and Worldwide Group Travel will present the Jamaica Destination Weddings & Honeymoon Exposition on Sunday, March 29, at the Holiday Inn Westbury in Carle Place, N.Y. Jamaica offers value and accessibility when planning a destination wedding or honeymoon.

Carnival Cruise Lines will host a special event in Baltimore on April 25 to celebrate its new cruise program. “Fun City: Baltimore” sails into town from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Inner Harbor. The event will raise funds for Maryland Special Olympics.

The 16th International exhibition “Travel and Tourism/MITT” will take place from 18 to 21 March 2009 in the Expocentre at Krasnaya Presnya. Travel and Tourism/MITT exhibition has been run for more than 15 years and is one of the five leading world tourist exhibitions alongside WTM (London) and ITB (Berlin). As usual, MITT opens a spring-summer tourist season. MITT is organised by ITE, a leader of exhibition business in Russia, which is also an organiser of Leisure exhibition in autumn.

This year, a very popular Bonaire tradition will return to the island, when the Fifth Annual Bonaire Heineken Jazz Festival takes place on June 4 through 7, 2009. A variety of music styles will be heard around the island when internationally famous musicians mingle with the island’s local bands.
