From March 7 to 11 at the ITB Berlin 2007, the ITB Book World & Cultural Tourism will for the first time be going on display at a new location: the Palace am Funkturm

Two years ago, Caribbean Marketplace took a first step in its 26-year history to reduce waste by going paperless, replacing bulky printed directories, with electronic directories that are continuously updated. Now, Caribbean Marketplace 2007 is taking definitive measures to renovate event logistics in favor of more responsible, conscious business practices among organizers and attendees.

The countries of the Caribbean are finally beginning to come together to operate as a single nation and to make travel to and between the various islands and nations easier than ever before. All of this has been precipitated by the hosting of the Cricket World Cup (CWC), the third largest global sporting event, by ten Caribbean countries and enabling those visitors to move freely between those ten nations during the time of Cricket World Cup as if they were a single country.

Cricket fans traveling to the Caribbean for Cricket World Cup 2007 can rest assured that they will feel secure as the host countries for the event will implement security measures of an unprecedented level.

FITUR and Canal Viajar have renewed their collaboration agreement, which means that this Spanish channel, a pioneer within the travel and tourism sector, will once again be the fair’s official television channel.
