InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announces the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Tuxpan hotel in Veracruz, Mexico.

Belmond Cap Juluca – the acclaimed luxury resort in the British West Indies renowned for its signature Greco-Moorish style architecture and pristine white sand beaches – has appointed Tiago Moraes Sarmento as its new General Manager.

US hotel firm is to open the brand’s first Caribbean property in St Kitts on November 1. The hotel will be located within the Christophe Harbour development on Banana Bay on St Kitts’ southern coast overlooking sister island Nevis.

The resorts have received a rating of 4+ from the editorial staff and 75 percent of family reviewers recommended the property by giving it a 4+ rating in their reviews.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International will penalize people who cancel reservations within 48 hours of the planned stay, up from 24 hours. In most cases, the penalty is the price of one night’s room rental.
