Mandarin Oriental will enter the Caribbean in November when the luxury resort operator takes over the recently opened Pink Sands Club on Canouan Island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Belize’s first luxury resort from a global brand, built from the ground up on Ambergris Caye, is set to open this winter.

Set to open in March 2018 on the silver-white sands of Grand Anse Beach on the island’s south-western tip, Silversands Grenada is a sleek and contemporary boutique property comprising 43 suites and nine villas.

The Oetker Collection, a European hotel company with 10 properties, has added Jumby Bay Island, a resort on a private island off the northeast coast of Antigua, to its portfolio.

Yoo Santo Domingo, a boutique property from hotel and design firm Yoo, will open in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in late 2019.

Blue Diamond Resorts will take over management of the all-inclusive Jolly Beach Resort & Spa on Antigua, effective Sept. 1.
